HGV Class 2 Lorry Driver

Responsibilities:

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries of building and timber materials to construction sites and private houses
• Load and unloading of lorries using HIAB, Forklift or manual handling where required
• Ensure loads are safely secured in line with Company and Transport regulations
• Complete daily lorry checks and report defects accordingly
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork
• Adhere to drivers hours and tachograph regulations
• Provide professional, friendly customer service at all delivery points
• Follow all health and safety procedures in line with company policy and procedures

Essential Criteria:

• Class C/HGV2 License holder
• Must have valid and up to date Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Card
• Must have digital tachograph card
• Minimum 1 year Class 2 or C driving essential
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Good geographical knowledge of area
• Forklift and HIAB desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
