Community Rescue Service launches new Superstore at The Junction.
The Community Rescue Service (CRS) officially launched their new store at The Junction on Friday 31 July. They were joined for the official ribbon cutting ceremony by the Mayor of Antrim & Newtownabbey. Cllr. Henry Cushinan.
The new store, aptly named ‘Rumble in the Jumble’ is over 20,000 sq. ft, and has a vast range of furniture & homeware, perfect for upcycling and decorating your home. There is also a huge range of clothing, footwear and children’s toys. All of the pre-loved items have been donated to Community Rescue Service to help them fund their important work across Northern Ireland.
CRS is one of Northern Ireland’s primary charitable search and rescue organisations. Founded in 2007 by search and rescue expert Sean McCarry OBE, the charity emerged to fill a critical gap in lowland urban and rural rescue operations.
Head of Operations at CRS, Sean McCarry said “Community Rescue Service is excited to launch our new store at The Junction. Customers have been loving the beautiful furniture and home accessories all at bargain prices. The funds raised through our new shop are really important in helping CRS keep delivering for our communities.”
Chris Flynn, Centre Director at The Junction added “we are delighted to welcome the new Rumble in the Jumble store to the Centre. The work carried by the volunteers at CRS is so important, and we know that our customers will enjoy browsing the great range of pre-loved items, whilst also making a big difference to the local community.”
Rumble in the Jumble is located right beside Poundland and Omniplex Cinema. It is open Monday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 10am – 4pm.
