NORTHERN IRELAND’S LARGEST STARBUCKS DRIVE-THRU IS NOW OPEN AT THE JUNCTION
Chris Flynn, centre director of The Junction and Denise Stewart, store manager of Starbucks raise their red cups to toast the opening of Northern Ireland’s largest Starbucks Drive-Thru at The Junction in Antrim.
Creating 25 new jobs, the newly built 110-seater unit is the global coffee chain’s third Drive-Thru in Northern Ireland, bringing its total number of outlets on the island of Ireland to 103.
The Starbucks Drive-Thru is part of an ongoing £30 million redevelopment plan at the retail and leisure destination. Earlier this month it was announced that the project is on target for completion in 2021, after reaching its second major milestone with the unveiling of a new public square and road infrastructure.
Commenting on the opening, Chris Flynn, centre director of The Junction, said:
“The opening of the new Starbucks Drive-Thru further complements the existing food and beverage offering at The Junction and it’s great to see it arrive in time for Christmas – when everyone loves getting a red coffee cup in their hands.
“With an existing establishment already operating here, it’s a testament to our reputation that a global chain like Starbucks has further invested in a second unit at The Junction and we look forward to welcoming more exciting brands to the scheme in 2020.”
