Race Numbers and T-Shirts can be collected in advance from Visitor Information Centre at The Junction (Opposite Costa Coffee) at the following times:
โข THIS Saturday 28th February: 10am โ 5pm
โข Thursday 5th March: 10am โ 7pm
โข Friday 6th March: 10am โ 7pm
โข Saturday 7th March: 10am โ 5pm
โข Race-Day, Sunday 8th March: 9.15am -11.15am

We encourage you to collect your Race Number in advance of race day to help everything run smoothly on race day.

Please note that the t-shirt size ordered at registration can not be changed at the collection point.

โข If you have selected postage option for your Race Number, it will be posted over the coming days.

โข The 1k Fun Run starts at 11.30am sharp
โข The 5k (Sub 20-minutes) starts at 11.45am sharp.
โข The 5k (20 minutes plus) starts at 12.15pm sharp.

๐ฆ๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ง ๐๐๐ก๐:
โข The start line is located behind Murdocks Builders Merchants at The Junction. Please assemble in FRONT of Murdocks Builders Merchants in the GREEN Car Park, at least ten minutes before your race start time.
โข Marshals will advise you when to go around to the Start Line.
โข Please do not cut across the path of runners in earlier races on your way to Start Line.

๐๐๐ฅ ๐ฃ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ก๐:
โข FREE Car-parking is available in the Red and Purple Car Parks at The Junction. Car Parking should be accessed via the main entrance to The Junction on the A26 Ballymena Road.
โข Please note that entrances at the back of The Junction and via Randalstown Road will be closed for the duration of the event.

๐๐๐ก๐๐ฆ๐ ๐๐๐ก๐:
โข Finishers medals will be awarded to all race finishers wearing their race number bib.
โข Water and snacks will be distributed at the finish line.

โข Sub-20 Prize Giving will take place after the race on the Public Square area (near Greggs)
โข Age Category Prize Giving will take place after the main 5k Race on the Public Square area (near Greggs)

โข Public toilets are available next to the Visitor Information Centre at The Junction.

๐ช๐๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐ฆ๐ง๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ก๐ฆ:
โข There are no water stations on the route. Runners should bring their own water, if required. Water will be provided at the finish line.

๐๐๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฃ:
โข There is no Bag Drop facility available.

๐๐๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ง ๐๐๐:
โข St John Ambulance will be providing First Aid assistance at the event.

About the Event
Weโre proud to launch the FIRST EVER Junction 5k, hosted at The Junction, Antrim, in partnership with Run-Anon Running Club and Team McKillop Coaching.
This exciting new event reflects The Junctionโs ongoing commitment to supporting health, wellbeing and the local community – and weโre delighted to bring a professionally organised, fast and flat 5k race to Antrim for runners of all abilities.
Whether you’re aiming for a new personal best, running your first ever 5k, or simply getting involved for the atmosphere, this event is designed to be welcoming, inclusive and community-focused. Weโre also introducing a 1K Family Fun Run, making it a brilliant day out for all ages and abilities.

Venue, Access & Facilities
The Junction 5K will be hosted at The Junction, Antrim, with the event hub located on the Public Square, start line at the Rear of Murdocks Buildings Merchants and finish area on the Public Square beside Greggs.

The Junction is conveniently located just off the M2, making it easily accessible by car from across Northern Ireland. Click here for directions from your location.
Parking
Free on-site parking is available across the scheme, with ample spaces for participants and visitors.

All 5K participants will receive a Junction 5K technical T-shirt, an official Junction 5K finisherโs medal, and post-race refreshments.
Runners who complete the 5K in under 20 minutes will also have the opportunity to compete for prizes, including:

Route Maps
Route maps are now available for both the Junction 5K and the 1K Family Fun Run showing the full course layout, start and finish points, and key route information.ย Both routes are Flat, Fast and Traffic Free.
Both routes will be fully supported with marshals and clear signage throughout, ensuring a safe, well-managed and easy-to-follow experience for all participants.
For added safety and peace of mind, first aid cover will be available at the finish line and at designated points along the route.

5k Route
The 5K course begins with a large outer loop marked in red, followed by a smaller inner loop marked in green, before finishing with a short final yellow section to the finish line where Medals and refreshments will be available.

1k Route
The 1K route uses the purple course layout, guiding runners through clearly marked sections before returning to the finish line.
